Don't Give Up! The World Needs YOU!

Don’t Give Up! Someone Needs You
by Marjorie Desgrosseilliers

A few months ago, I watched what I thought was a rather remarkable movie called The Aeronauts. You can find it on Amazon Prime.

The story takes place in the 1800s. It’s about a daring young woman, Amelia Wren, who comes to the end of herself after a horrific accident. She has an ability that few others possess: she’s the manufacturer and pilot of hot air balloons.
James, a talented young meteorologist, is relentlessly pursuing her to pilot a balloon for him. However, she’s so enmeshed in her profound grief and isolation that she refuses.

One night, James’s best friend pays a visit to Amelia. “In this life, few are given the chance to change the world,” he says. “You’ve been assigned a responsibility, Miss Wren. You have to meet it!”

From time to time, everybody needs encouragement to keep going. We need a subtle but firm reminding push that God put us here for a reason, and we have an important, unique destiny on the earth.

That’s true for YOU today. YOU have such a destiny.

What You Carry Is Important

Inside you lies something beautiful, instilled by the One who created you, and it will change the world.

You’re a mother. You’re a father. A businesswoman or a businessman. A pastor, a
janitor, a scientist, a veteran, an artist, a writer, a politician, a teenager, a grandfather, a grandmother, a single person, a cashier. You could even be homeless right now—but whoever you are, whatever is going on in your life, the special thing you carry inside you is the catalyst someone else needs to become great themselves.

That catalyst could be something as simple as a kind word. A touch. A hug. A speech. A song, painting, poem, gift. A listening ear. An invention.

But because you’re on the other end of that thing, it is lovely and powerful and has the capability of delivering a life-altering punch (in a good way!) to someone else.

We have become his poetry, a re-created people that will fulfill the destiny
he has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One.

Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the
good works we would do to fulfill it! (Eph. 2:10 TPT)

Go Out and Be Bold

Whatever you have within you to produce change in the world, God put it there on purpose. I encourage you with all my heart to go out and meet it this year.

If you feel like you have no courage, ask God to pour His courage into you. If you feel like you don’t have any clue how to pursue the dream He’s put on your heart, ask Him for wisdom.

The world needs you and what you carry.
