Elijah House® prophetic prayer ministry is a type of biblical counseling that is pastoral in nature. Prayer Ministry Training Course 201 lays the foundations for healing and transformation, both for the students themselves, and for equipping the saints for inner healing and the work of binding up broken hearts (Isaiah 61:1).
We teach foundational principles and tools for dealing with personal and interpersonal issues. Students learn to trace bad fruit to bitter roots formed in the heart (Hebrews 12:15), most often in childhood. They learn how to cut off bitter roots at the cross and bring repentance and inner healing to the heart. Transformation is the goal of this work — to raise up healthy Christians in their own communities.
School lessons include core Elijah House® teachings that help us understand how bitter roots are formed and how broken hearts can be healed through the biblical process of repentance and forgiveness. Tools of prayer ministry are taught in this series of lessons, as well as conditions that influence how best to minister.
There are 25 lessons in all, as well as two demonstrations with volunteers from the school. Practical experience is gained through small group ministry time with guidance from experienced leaders.
Students are also provided with a study guide containing lesson notes, references, and enrichment articles. For preparation to attend Prayer Ministry Training Course 201, we recommend an intensive week of prayer ministry with a gifted prayer minister in order to identify latent unresolved emotional wounds and inner healing issues. We also suggest that you begin reading the following books in advance of attending the school: start with the four books of the “Transformation Series,” followed by Restoring the Christian Family, and Deliverance and Inner Healing.
As a prospective student, we strongly urge you to surround yourself with a personal support group. This group should not only include intercessors who will pray for you on a consistent basis, but also your spouse and close friends whom you can trust to tell you the truth in love. Personal support groups model accountability and should be foundational in your personal walk with God. Within a small group you can grow and flourish as an individual and learn to be transparent and trusting in close spiritual relationships.

Elijah House 201 Prayer Ministry Course
Prospective students have three options of our 201 school to choose from: an EH Online School, a Live Teaching School, or (where available) an approved EH Facilitated Video School near you!
Elijah House® Online Prayer Ministry Schools Over the course of 10 weeks, students watch 3 streaming video lessons per week on their own time and attend a 1.5 to 2-hour small group meeting once a week over a video platform such as Zoom or Google Hangouts (small group on the 10th week is graduation time!). Attendance at all small groups are mandatory to be eligible for graduation.
The beauty of Elijah House’s online schools is that there is not a "set" start and end date! Upon acceptance, students go through the school in assigned groups of 4 under the guidance of an experienced Elijah House-trained small group leader. When an accepted student's assigned group reaches full capacity of 4 students, access to the school (lesson videos plus small group) begins.
Live Teaching Elijah House® Prayer Ministry Schools are two-week intensive schools held in Idaho with EH HQ staff and teachers! Teachings and demonstrations offer students from around the nation and the world opportunities to directly interact with the Elijah House® teaching team and to experience a rich, intensive experience away from the distractions of home.

This live school is a two-week intensive format held at Elijah House HQ in Hayden, ID. Live teachings and demonstrations offer students from around the world opportunities to interact directly with our on-site Elijah House® teaching team, and to experience a rich, intensive experience away from the distractions of home.
Tuition is $749.00 USD, which includes a $50.00 non-refundable application fee, the course, and course workbook. It does not cover required reading books, travel, lodging, or meals. Reading books may be purchased from the book table at the school, from our online store at www.elijahhouse.org, or by calling the Elijah House® Training Department at 1-208-900-9144.

Facilitated Video Prayer Ministry Schools are held around the US and Canada, and are led by a trusted Facilitator who has graduated from either a live or video school and has been officially approved by Elijah House® to administer school registration, play pre-recorded lessons, field student questions, and facilitate small groups in which students learn to bring inner healing to each other.
A benefit of attending one of our Video Prayer Ministry Schools is the slower pace and easier assimilation of the material. This format also offers opportunity to form lasting bonds with fellow students from one's own local area. Video schools are conducted in many locations, often in a once-a-week format over three to six months, convenient for local fellowships. Some Facilitators offer other formats, such as intensive weekends or intensive weeks. Click the button below to find a school near you!
