Unmet Needs - 201 School Lesson 14 (CD)

Within each of us is a deep God-given longing for love and grace. That longing manifests as basic human needs. Every child needs to be valued unconditionally. From conception, parents should pour into the "treasure chest" of our hearts deposits of love, gentleness and compassion, welcoming and wanting us, building a sense of belonging. If these needs are not met, and not enough love poured into us, we may give into believing lies about ourselves (I'm worthless, I'm not good enough, etc.), become ashamed of our needs, decide not to need what we are missing and more. This lesson helps uncover unmet needs in our heart, what they are, and how to get healing for them.
