When you know what the Lord is saying to you, you can step into what He is doing. He is not bound by human limitation or understanding, and many times in your life He will do what is physically impossible.
John Sandford tells the following story in his book Healing the Earth.
He and a friend were flying from Seattle to Spokane. The stewardess came on the intercom to say there was a bad storm up ahead. They couldn’t fly over, around, or under the storm, so it was going to be a very bumpy ride.
John and his friend had a quick discussion and agreed that the Lord was prompting them to intervene in prayer.
In a quiet voice, and in Jesus’ name, John spoke to the winds and commanded them to be still.
And everything became perfectly calm. The plane landed in Spokane without experiencing even one little bump. The stewardess was quite embarrassed.
John said about this event, “How did the winds hear me? I haven’t the faintest idea, and I don’t need to know. I just know that either they did or that God heard on their behalf and moved them to respond.”
What is God telling YOU?
Is there an “impossible” thing He is talking to you about?
Don’t be afraid to listen to His prompting and follow it, because He is very good at doing impossible things.
