Do You Sense Change Is Coming?

Do You Sense Change Is Coming?

by Sue Frisbie, Elijah House Spiritual Director

Very often God will give people a sense of coming change before the change occurs.

For nearly two years, Bill and I felt that a transition was coming. We both sensed it, but we didn’t know what it was. Then about eight months ago, someone came up to us and said, “You’re in a huge transition. The enemy is trying to push you faster than what God is pushing you. Don’t feel like you have to rush into something.”

When you have that sense of, “I think something is just about to change,” it’s okay if you don’t know what to do with that feeling. You don’t need to get anxious about it or try to figure everything out. Take what you are feeling to the Lord and ask Him about it.

“I hear You and I agree with You, but I don’t know exactly what You are saying to me. What does this feeling mean? Is it for me personally? Is it for someone else? Is it for the nation?” Many times there is a personal component, even if the Lord is showing you something for a larger group of people.

Do you sense in your heart that change is coming or that something is about to happen?

It’s okay if you don’t know exactly how He is leading you. You can trust Him and ask for more information.
