Internship
The Elijah House Internship Program was established to teach and equip persons within the Body of Christ to do prayer ministry with the Heart of the Shepherd. We teach ministry skills with an understanding of how to partner with the Holy Spirit through the application of biblical principles.
Here is what one of our Interns had to say about the Elijah House Internship Program:
“My name is Renee. I am 30 years old and participating in the Internship Program at Elijah House Ministries. My education and experience include an undergraduate degree, a Master Degree in counseling from a well known seminary, a license as a counselor, and almost four years of experience working as a counselor in a psychiatric hospital.
I am amazed at the depth of training I have received through Elijah House Ministries. As I reflect on all the education, training and experience I have received up to this point, I am confident that the training here has been the best ministry training of my life.
I now realize that my past education leaned heavily upon obtaining knowledge, but it was weak in showing me how that knowledge applied to real life and hurting people. Elijah House excels in teaching Biblical principles and then modeling how to apply those principles through the leading of the Holy Spirit. I am grateful for the integration that has taken place in my life between knowledge, experience and application.
Through my experiences and training at Elijah House, I now completely believe that God will heal the hearts of His people, and I have had the opportunity to see Him do this over and over again! God has shown me that He really is the great Healer and Deliverer of His people, and His Holy Spirit is alive and at work everyday everywhere.
Thank You, God, for what You are doing through the ministry of Elijah House! Thank You for letting me see and experience the hearts of children turning back to the hearts of their fathers and the hearts of fathers to their children. Thank You, God for bringing the broken-hearted and wounded back to wholeness, and for healing my own wounded heart and spirit through the ministry of Elijah House!
